Sonja is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Sonja holds a Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland. Her clinical experience includes Marital Therapy, Premarital Counseling, Parent-Child Issues, Blended-Family Therapy, Racial Identity Development, School Performance Issues and Group Therapy. She has worked extensively with troubled adolescents and runaways. She also leads a group for adolescent girls struggling with spirituality and identity development. Sonja and her husband, Jason, are the parents of three beautiful children. She and Jason are very active as lay-ministry leaders in their local congregation.
